GSC has been committed to enhancing the delivery of health care – with a focus on ensuring equitable access for all Canadians – since 1957. Our ongoing involvement in a variety of grassroot initiatives creates desirable outcomes for all of our stakeholders. In addition, our thought leadership at GSC has ensured that our message – equal access to affordable health benefits – is heard throughout the nation. Sometimes there are issues that we feel strongly about and wish to support. In other circumstances, government ministries or special committees approach us for our expert opinion. Our involvement often results in the submission of advocacy papers or position statements. As a result, we have been able to gain new perspectives from industry stakeholders, which has enabled us to continue developing innovative solutions towards improving access to better health.
